Due to breathlessness, legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar has been hospitalized at Mumbai's Hinduja Hospital in Khar. Last month, the 98-year-old actor was admitted to the hospital for a regular check-up and then released. COVID-19 claimed the lives of the actor's two younger brothers, Aslam (88) and Ehsan (90), last year. Kumar, who made his film debut in 1944 with 'Jwar Bhata,' has acted in a number of classic films throughout the course of his five-decade career, including 'Kohinoor,' 'Mughal-e-Azam,' 'Devdas,' 'Naya Daur,' and 'Ram Aur Shyam,' among others.

For the past two days, the tragedy king has been having trouble breathing. Saira Banu, the actor's wife, revealed that the doctor has requested that the actor undertake various tests and x-rays, after which it will be determined how many more days he will remain in the hospital. She went on to say that he had asked for prayers from his supporters. In recent years, the celebrity has been dealing with age-related health difficulties. "Dilip Kumar Sahab was hospitalized at Mumbai's PD Hinduja Hospital. He's been having respiratory problems for the past several days, and he's been consulting Dr. Jaleel Parker and a Hinduja team lead by Dr. Nitin Gokhale," his wife Saira Banu told India TV.

Dilip Kumar is stable, according to medical authorities, and might be discharged in the next several days.

"Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for standard testing and investigations," a tweet from the actor's official Twitter account said. He's experienced bouts of being out of breath. He is being cared for by a team of healthcare professionals lead by Dr. Nitin Gokhale. Keep Sahab in your thoughts and prayers, and be safe."

Kumar was brought to the hospital for a routine health check-up, according to Faisal Farooqui, a family friend of the actor. "He was hospitalized for a standard physical examination. There's no reason to be concerned about anything. These are normal tests that must be performed on a regular basis due to his age. Farooqui informed PTI that he is OK.

Not only himself but also his wife, renowned actress Saira Banu, stated that all tests have been completed by a team of specialists and that the actor is in good health. "Sahab is in good health. He'll be released today. Banu had remarked, "We need your prayers."

Dilip Kumar's most recent film appearance was in the 1998 film 'Qila.'

Saira Banu is highly active on social media, and she occasionally tweets about the actor's health. "He has a slight weakness, otherwise he is OK," she stated in November, dismissing claims of Dilip Kumar's ailing health. That's ok with him. He has a high level of immunity. I never stated he had a poor level of immunity."
